How do you like our music vidio/motion graphic. We use it on our website. Only problem, it takes a while to load on the web. All honest answers would be gratefully received. Note our page is just a holding one at the moment, as built it myself, but looking for someone who is good to develop one for me. Any suggestions guys and gals?

Doesn't play for me..
If you want a nice cool website you could download a pre-made template from freelayouts.com (http://freelayouts.com) or I am willing to design you something.. Im not the worlds best.. ( http://astecdjs.co.uk) and the only cost would be hosting (about £30 two year) - as I want a few websites for a portfolio..
Anyway..
yes that page.. videos still not working

Thanks for the offer mate. Unfortunately only need the site designing, as have paid for hosting in advance (2 years). Realy need to learn how to do it myself, but running out of time. Cant do Disco etc, and learn about website design and maintain it within the next two months.
Would like to keep your offer in mind though if I can.

Hey thats great, cause thats one of the services we are offering. Designed the graphic myself. I guess to make it play quicker, need to use flash, but as I said, need to learn how to do it first.

Yo,
I wasn't talking about your intro graphic/videos .. was talking about the site design.. so can do it if you want.. dont just do templates or what have you.. happy to do anything - but without hosting would obviously be free:-)
Let me know on what you decide:-)

okey, kokey. am sure we could come to some amicable solution for both. I though the graphic/motion with music was cool. You wouldn't believe how many frames are in each.
By the way, do you use just html. Dont have a clue about script - java etc., and little about CSS. Just bought all the books recently. They all say to just use html 4.01. What do you use? Do you use software to do it. I just use notepad.
Interested DK
well..
mainly HTML too be honest..
if you go to NVU - CLICK HERE (http://www.nvu.com) then click on downloads.. then download the program you get yourself a nice and free wed design software program.. i use it sometimes alonside dreamweaver and it is better than notepad.. as you see what you are making.. and i always prefer that.
For scripting (like forms etc) or updates to the site when i dont have a program on the PC i use notepad to put in / edit script.. although for the best results i would say to use something like NVU..
But that is just me.
The graphic looks really cool.. if you have it on an intro page with the option to skip it if it takes too long.. or maybe a homepage where it wont notice that much if it isnt playing?

Cheers, I wanted to use it as an opening page, with the option to click to enter the site, but dont know how to do it. Will look at the link you gave. I downloaded a trial version of Macrodedia Studio 8, its got all the geeky programmes, like flash, and dreamweaver and all, but need to learn how to open the programme, ha ha. If I decide to buy, it will cost me $899 from Adobe, cheaper than if I bought it over here.
Hmm you would need flash.. althought these 'splash' pages are not popular with people or search engines and will get your rank be a bit rubbish and also lots of people click away when they see these splash pages .. so ive heard.
Anyway..
Signing off for the night.. im all posted out and need bed!
Ciao.

Many thanks for your replies and honest answers. I really did want to do the site myself, so I had full control, as its always hard to update and maintain, when you dont really know whats in it (scripting I mean), but unfortunately, I dont have the time, as I find the business depends on having an up and running web site that looks good and works well.
Thats the trouble with not being 'geeky' and stuff.
I want to have a site that has all the things like taking payment etc., contacting the disco, photos, reviews, oh and a links page, you know to helpful sites like this one.
The other aspect of our business, is we provide Accounting and Book-keeping, one of my former roles, or sins one might say. I used to be one for too long. My partner in DK is the vetern dj.
I would like to contact you guys who have offered some help, if thats ok.
Cheers and thanks again.
