How many hours has the lamp done?

It says equivalent lamp hour is 2473, which is really surprising considering how bright and clear it is.

If it helps anyone the lamp life expectancy of these is rated at 3000 hours. So in my book you have 527 hours left - which in my opinion is about a 100 gigs and the price is realistic.

The 3000 hours is generally conservative and depends how the lamp has been treated - ie cooled down correctly before moving etc.

How close can it get on the rear format projected on a rear frame?

The throw ratio is what you need to determine that, which is 0.86 to 0.94:1 on this model (which means that to project on a 1m diagonal screen it needs to be between 0.86 and 0.94m away from the screen (depending on the zoom setting on the lens).

That's not bad for an office spec projector, these figures are typically 1.1 or greater on small models.
