I'm in the fortunate position of also having a MC6000 as back up so have been looking for a suitable way of carrying it about bearing in mind it will just go in the front of the van as a "just in case".

I didn't want to hard flightcase it as it would be too bulky for going in the van. I've come across this a Zomo Controller sleeve sold in Germany.

Anyone seen one of these in the flesh?

And

Anyone had any dealings with "Recordcase" the German supplier?

Thanks in advance

If you have a van, how would it be too bulky to go in it with a flightcase?

I want it to go in the front of the van not the back hence don't want it in a large hard flightcase.

Swanflight do a really neat (and small) case for the MC6000, I know coz I had one. However, I've now got the Kontrol S4 and was thinking about this...

Ebay item 390380906631

Total Sounds in Reading seem to do Zomo gear, ask them if they have or can get one for the MC6000...

Well, it turns out that Total Sounds in Reading don't stock them but they have ordered it in from Germany for me and I should have it in 7-10 days.

Came out at £59 inc delivery ;)

I'll let you know what it's like incase anyone else is interested.

I think they do two versions, a sleeve and a case. I think the £59 one is a sleeve, not sure what they're like though, be interested to find out!

Yep, this is the sleeve one that I've ordered.

My primary one is rack mounted. This one is solely as a back up to be taken to gigs but kept in the front of the van for a "All gone Pete Tong" type scenario ;)

Well it arrived about 10mins ago and I thought I'd put a couple of pics up if anyone else is thinking about one.

It's a nice quality, well padded and will do what I need. It's a bit of a snug fit but rather that than it has a chance of moving around comes with a lovely shoulder strap and the case has a handle on the top. Got it from Total sounds. They don't stock these ones for the 6000 but ordered it from Germany and it took approx 7 days to get here. Cost was £58.

Looks ok, maybe would've liked a bit more padding maybe...
