I'm thinking of purchasing one to move all my stuff about which will be kept almost fully loaded in my locked garage to save loading and unloading of my equipment from my estate car and also to have completely covered with a graphic to advertise.My question is does anyone use one and if so do they insulate it or do anything to it to stop condensation etc?

I have a Lynton Loadrunner twin axle and no its fine. Its a full aluminium body rather than fibreglass and its nice and strong and does not attract internal condensation. Mine is stored in an garage which is intergal to my house so probably warmer than a fully detached garage.

Check the legal train weight and towing weights of your car. My box trailer is a 1800 kg max weight fully loaded as has upgraded axles on. I tow with a shogun sport and she is a heavy box to pull even with that beast up front.

also make sure you have b+e on your driving licence or you can legally tow anything with a mam of over 750kg regardless of what you pull it with.

if you have a licence prior to 1997 you should have this anyway.

I have a Ivof Williams BV6e Box Van Trailer (roller shutter version) with Jockey-wheel.
I used to have 4 x SRM450s and 1 flight case all my lights + bags in it
Now have 2 x QSC K12s and 2 x QSC Subs. Plus all my lights and 2 Flight cases and several bags in it. Tight fit. But saves anything rolling around.
We had Temperatures as low as -16c in Edinburgh in 2010. Cables were freezing in it if left out for any length of time. So never leave it out over night when cold. Most of the time it is in the garage. Never had any problems with damps or water in it.

...but trailers don't usually have an inbuilt self-contained power supply that will last a week between gigs. The ones I've seen don't anyhow :p

Caravans do, so an adaption shouldn't be too difficult ! ;)
I guess it's back to large bags of silica gel then ? :D
