I wasn't going to sell this but it's going to go on Ebay. It's pristine so I'd rather someone on here had it:

Absolutely as new, boxed Yamaha MG 124 CX mixer. Not gigged - used as a spare or for home use.

12 channels, 4 with compression, on board FX. It's a great all round desk.

Web prices around £260-£280 new. This one for sale at £180.

Could I ask you a question is this rack mountable?

If this is rack mountable this is perfect for me!!

Rack mount ear kit £38.00 : http://www.musicstore.com/en_EN/EUR/Yamaha-RKMG124-Rackmount-Kit-fuer-MG124C-MG124CX/art-PAH0011807-000

EDIT: Actually that's 38EUR (I found a German store) - but it proves the kit is available ;)

If you'd put this up for sale before Xmas I would have bitten your hand off (it was outside of my price range at the time so I bought a Mackie instead).

I've never looked because It was never put in anything where it needed to be rack mounted. Anyhoo, now I have and it isn't rack mountable using traditional mounts - I'm sure it would be possible to rack mount it with a bit of creativity.

Rack mountable or not, it is a damn fine mixer!

Indeed, and there is the creativity from Mr Thomann.

The pre-2011 versions of this mixer didn't have threads in the sides for traditional mountings and the Thomann link looks to address that. Thanks, I'll include that in my Ebay advert.

No I was going to buy it but the I spoke to Yamaha and they said there bringing out a new model with rack mounts on the mixer also with more research it hasn't got enough inputs!

Jeezzz......There has been a model out with side mounts for over a year now. Just the same as this one - and a 12 input mixer has 12 inputs - no more, no less.

May I also point out that there was no need to reply to my post, in fact replying to it broke a rule.

No chat in For Sale threads.

Now as the header of Paul's previous post would indicate the mixer is either sold or withdrawn from sale...
