Wav to mp3 converter

Anyone got a linky to a program that they have used. It's only for very short soundbites that VDJ won't play, so preferably free and also advert/toolbar free too!

One that you have used and installed please, not just a link randomly found on Google. :D

I'm just playing with Audiograbber with Lame, appears to do a good job.

Hmm, neither Audacity or Audiograbber are working on these files. They are working fine on converting wav music files, but not the soundbites.

I've used Goldwave for many years, you can also cut bits out i.e. dead bits on the end of tracks. Also has loads of effects if that's what floats yer boat lol

I've used NCH Switch before and it does the job.

I'm suprised that Audacity isn't working. Have you got the K-Lite Encoder Pack installed as this gives programs such as Audicity the ability to work with a greater range of file formats.

Blimey! Is dBPa still going? I remember using that years ago when I was in to my own music production for making samples and stuff. It was marketed as the "Audiophiles' Swiss Army Knife"! :)
