Tibo Mixing Desk ?

Seen this unit which is similar to alot of mixing desks out there yes its is a cheapo verison but i was wondeing if anyone had actually used/tried/messed with this as it does everything but unsure if it has the built in soundcard etc so im guessing its just basically a tarted up mixer with cd drives and usb ports ?


It seems like a nice toy BUT without actually having a toy with it (which i will do soon) i was asking if anyone else or any of the shops on here have had it/tried it etc ?

That is the one I had found, but until I downloaded the user manual, I hadn't quite grasped its function. It is indeed a DJ mixer, with no built in amp. Now whether the USB inputs use a soundcard isn't specified, but logically without one, they'd be useless, so it seems fair to expect them to play mp3's from a memory stick inserted there.

No no no no no, dear boy. :Naughty: That's because there isn't an amp. It's hidden carefully in the left hand speaker, the active one. The right hand one's a passive one, driven by the left. The base unit would as far as I can see, feed a pair of Mackies/RCF/EV quite cheerfully, or 25kilos of amp driving a stack of Class D's, whatever floats your boat.

1.How to connect an external amplifier to DJ PRO 1000?


You can connect an external amplifier using (the?) loudspeakers output on the DJ PRO 1000, than you will connect loudspeakers into your external amplifier.

2.How to connect DJ PRO 1000 to PC or Mac?


There is no direct output for PC or Mac on the DJ PRO 1000, however you can use a RCA to USB converter to do so. Than you will be able to connect it into USB slot on you PC or Mac.

3.PP-100 - I experience cutting sound on PP-100?


Turn you TV volume to full, thank you use PP-100 to adjust the desire volume, as this will allow to receive full audio signal from TV.

Well i went and looked and played with the unit and tbh it wasnt as bad as what it looks like, speakers could be better but for the likes of home use or a pub residency etc it wouldnt be bad.

It did look abit plasticy BUT it has all metal caseing etc and replaceable crossfader etc only down side not rack mountable lol

As i say it was a quite nice unit and very smooth sliders think its more as i mentioned home/pub use.

i have got a set of these decks and are pretty basic but not bad for small partys and stuff my decks are conected to my laptop with a double RCA lead in the back so i can use the pc on both channels plus the 2x usb MP3 sockets and the 2X MP3 cd disk plus i got the full version of virtual DJ so you can play and mix off laptop without mixing off desks plus my karaoke spftware runs off laptop in to decks so there plenty of options to work the decks the pre amp speakers are 225watt if you was wondering how many watts they are in a small room they pretty good for sound plus i got a bass box running in with them so you get a nice crisp clear punch there ideal in a local pub and a room function like out of town in ripley wich im sure you have been in there before :beer1:
