Just had a Wedding Enquiry for Arbroath, which is a little "off-patch" for me! (About 450 miles!) Anyhow a quick phone call to the bride to be, and we're sorted! She is from Arbroath, but the Wedding is local.....panic over!:muppet:

I once had an email enquiry for someone who wanted a DJ... in Essex!

Also, I've previously been asked to do a show in Ireland but the costs of the logistics involved were too prohibitive and, sadly, I had to pass :(

We've done the long-distance jobs where someone specifically wanted us and were prepared to pay travel and hotel, but I don't think that the enquiry for a 2 hour kids party in Liverpool that we had last week would be one of them! :p

I get enquiries for Essex all the time, from people who've landed on the page that mentions my full name and haven't bothered to read anything else of the website!

www. World Wide Web. I had an enquiry from Kansas 3 yrs ago, the bride had been there on a University degree course and the wedding was near Kings Lynn, 50mile away.
Last year an enquiry from Canada and another booking for their wedding 30 miles from me in Norfolk.
Yesterday enquiry from SW London for an anniversary near Hunstanton, contract posted today.
If I was not close to the top of Google I probably would not get these bookings. I do not travel more than 100 mile though.
Meeting a couple from Essex next week at a hotel in north Norfolk, to discuss their wedding at the venue.

I wouldn't have minded. It was obviously a genuine enquiry and the venue was a very posh-looking sports club. If I covered that far south, I've have jumped at the chance of such a booking. In the end, I was disappointed that I had to refuse.

Yes - We've had gigs booked from all over the world too - US, Aus, various European countries and even Dubai.

How did everyone manage before the net? :daft:

You actually spoke to people and asked them who they had. :D

Furthest Mobile booking is Normandy in France, going back for the third time this Easter. 400 students playing hockey during the day and partying all night!

Furthest club gig was Lloret Del Mar, Spain. Was there for a weekend doing 3 nights in a club, again for a student tour.
