To all martin wizard extreme users out there..
I bought a light from Charlie a while ago to replace one of our DJ's lighting that was trashed by idiots on new years eve. Anyway, the lights too heavy for him (wuss) so I'm using it now.
When you dmx your fixture to very slow barrel pan and rotate (eg for mirrorball effect), do you experience a slight gobo vibration or is the rotation and pan very smooth. I'm finding that slow mirror pan (side to side) tends to introduce a bit of a jiggle. The stepper motors have been checked and are OK. Ex-Martin engineers tell me that the steppers aren't too refined and I shouldn't expect very smooth slow panning.
I've already replaced the PCB to stepper motor wiring which was a total mess - this stopped some unpredictable stepping problems.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
