Stairville 300 Hazer

Just purchased this (and the art rcf 712 speakers) - and after reading some horror stories here of the machine clogging up and oily residues everywhere. Is there anything in particular to do, to avoid any of this please?

Hi Chris, I have had an SD300 hazer for a couple of years now and never had any problem at all. I never use it heavily all noght but at some functions give a few full bursts to fill the venue before turning the control to reduce output to very small bursts every 15 - 20 secs and it is ok all night.
If it should need cleaning I would empty the haze liquid and partly refil with distilled water before pumping this through to clear pump and tubes. Chris. www.abracadabradisco.co.uk

Just been testing it out a little tonight. Finding the gauge quite hard to read? Is that a common thing with these?

I bought mine from Thomann with 2 x 5litres of liquid. I never look at the guage.

I guess it's best to check occasionally, to make sure it doesn't go empty.

Bit noisy, eh?
