what do listen to on your way to and from a disco

do you radio if so which station? or cd/cassette it or just sit in silence to clear your ears for the night or through lack of stereo LOL

Im a Kiss fm man now vibe has been bought out but occasionally listen to Radio 1 as well

On the way to gig---road reports :sad:

On the way back theres a station (cant remember which one cos its programmed on my radio--might be radio 2 ) that has a late late show after about 1oclock and invites entertainers to phone in and tell the listeners driving home how the gig went.

Its quite amusing ---this is a conversation I heard a month or two ago--Honestly!

Entertainer--yeah brilliant gig, everyone danced all night on the tables, bound to get loads of repeat bookings, we were brilliant and similar BULL

Where was the gig--err Middlesborough---ok where are you driving back to?

I thought I travelled a long way, that sounds desperate :sad:

I usually have the local commercial mob on - Signal - here in Stoke - as they have the 'disco' type shows on and it's a great memory jogger to think "god I've not heard that for ages" so often play something I've heard on there.

Way home - usually - of all things - Radio 4 - as I've had hours of music and it's good to listen to something different and give the old ears a break.

LOL I use to do that job once when I wasnt DJing once in the dark early days I soon learnt what music people like when travelling or at clubs n discos etc etc

But Yep we did talk a lot of waffle sometimes just to pass the day
