I spend ages finding a case and then don't like it when it arrives.

I want something that doesn't look like a big bulky add on but does protect the phone.

What does everyone else use?

I've been looking at the bumper cases...

Just a clear plastic case on my Iphone 4. It was about 2 quid delivered from Amazon. Make sure you protect the screen too with some screen protectors.

I never used screen protectors on the 3gs and it was fine until I dropped it :o

I had a clear case on the 3gs too. I was thinking that something a bit more substantial might be called for this time.

i got a gear4 case from the o2 shop, made of car tyre i think, dropped my phone so many times and it just bounces, learnt my lession after having my phone a week and breaking the screen, not cheap, around £15 but worth it in the long run and you don't need a screen protector on it

That is a really good idea!

My mate is selling them really cheap. I bought five off him. The quality is fantastic and you wouldn't know there's a case on them!

Comes with a cloth and screen protector for about £5 delivered. I'll find you the ebay link or you can have one of mine for nought?

I'll wack one in a envelope if you like? 2nd class though, I'm saving money. :sj:

The real ones are about £50, I saw a fake one this week, I'd still go for an original.

How does it work when you take a call?

Don't the cards get in the way?

Its a vynal sticker that you design and then apply. Protects the back and the front and near the home button and camera on the front. Leaves the phone looking as good with out the bulk and stops the scratches. I have a £5 off voucher here too. 3 infact if anyone wants one :)

D'oh!

He's not selling a book book - I meant a standard iPhone case.

Will it stop it from smashing though?

This is of obvious importance!

Darren, I've been using one of these (http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/19642402/iTALKonline-Retro-Cassette-Silicone-Case-Apple-iPhone-4/Product.html?_%24ja=tsid:11518|cat:19642402|prd:19 642402) for a while. My only complaint is that you have to unhook the bottom every time you charge it, but it's not too much of an inconvenience. Its very lightweight and does protect from knocks, but is not going to be as strong as an otterbox case.

I should add that mine wasn't from Play but bought from ebay, mine came with a cassette box style plastic case to keep it in.

Unless you wrap it in bubble wrap or use those griffen bullet proof cases no case will ever stop it from getting smashed!

Well, I have bought 4 different cases!

All four cost just less than £15 together!

I can never decide and can never tell how protective they are or how they will fit, so I bought a few!

I use a case-mate barely there on my S2 because they're apparently just that, barely there :) They do one for the iPhone 4 too.

Considering it's a sticker, I very much doubt it.
