Quiz Night

Hi, Been asked to do a 50th Birthday Party this coming Sunday, booked today. They have asked me if I could incorporate a Quiz Night into the evening as well as disco.
Just wondered if anyone on here has any useful tips. Is it as simple as getting some quiz questions and paper/pens. (I do realise Mic technique is important and I have no problem with that)

I do a quiz night every Thursday at my local pub and although it's not a disco I always have at least 10 song intro's worth 2 points each if they get the song and artist.
I get lot of my questions from here (http://www.quiz-zone.co.uk/questionsbycategory.html) as you can use the random generator to get questions, just take out the ones you don't want.

Always make sure you do a bit of research on the answers as you may get heckled - although this is part of the fun and I always state (as it does on my answer sheets) that the quizmaster is always right lol

I'm not sure how a quiz will run with a disco unless you do the quiz first - you could leave the answers until the end to keep them 'in' - especially if there are prizes.

I'm sure others will be along with ideas & suggestions....:D

I think questions that are interesting with guessable answers entice people more. Just basic questions and answers can be dull.
e.g. What do these three artists have in common? - or Who was the youngest Beatle - that sort of thing

Although that may be more entertaining you have to be very careful about asking ambiguous questions that could cause arguments.
