Should be available but as of yet no UK distributors. Supposedly LEE 228 Brushed Silk would do exactly the same. Sadly I cant test it out but to buy the gel would only cost £2 or so to fit a few cans to try!

What a waist of money - nothing you can't do with frost or black wrap that's what we have been doing or years and tw lighting industry has been doing for decades!

Thats different stuff thats to mix the colours more to get them more even. Whats in the videos changes the angles of the cans like a lens. Its being sold in the US for $140 a sheet.

Thats different stuff thats to mix the colours more to get them more even. Whats in the videos changes the angles of the cans like a lens. Its being sold in the US for $140 a sheet.

It probably increases it more, but the blurb mentions beam angle as well.

'Stairville LED Diffusions Filter - new diffusion filter for LED PAR cans improves colour mixing and increases the beam angle.'

Diffusion does that but not as well as whats in the link. It just mixes the light up a bit more and due to the way it works it gets a little bit wider but not by anything worth it.

yep certainly did!

the following are great frosts 119 is my preferred for producing a clean slightly wider softer beam

at the end of the day the best way to do this is with a lens - the op was basically a very thin lens.
you can get similar on rolls like they use in back of minibus windows and cut those to fit too!
