I've just taken a call tonight and to be honest i was gobsmacked.....
The old bins have not been struck up in 2 yrs they have been silent as the western front on the 1st day....zilch.
The call was from a very nice lady who wanted me to do a gig for a bon voyage trip.....adios amigo i'm off to America. Very nice i thought, more like i wish i was doing that..:p ..anyway, going through motions and asking all the info, it turns out i have done 3 previous gigs for this family.
2 Weddings and 1 40th Birthday.
She managed to find my number and wanted me to do the party as she liked (Quote) the way i catered for everyone including the children.
Well.......i was gobsmacked......not even played / done a gig in two years.
3 - Things struck me here......
1 - Nice to be remebered and i like to think i got it right....
2 - If your going to do it....do it right.
3 - ...and the most important.......i got it right from all the info on here, this site.
Just thought i would share this. :)
