My last concert I went to was 3 years ago to see UB40 before Ali decided to leave (again). This year I have 2 lined up. Both in Brighton, Hazel O`Connor on 28th October (Breaking Glass tour) and Madness in December, Rihanna whenever I get a chance. Does anyone else go to concerts much. Oh yeah also Kevin Boody Wilson in October (will be my 2nd time seeing him)

Nowhere near as often as I'd like to. All the bands I like seem to Play London on Saturdays in the wedding season or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday in December.

Never seen Madness (despite knowing one of them. Missed out on freebies for the Hackney Empire show a couple of years back because he couldn't find me in time), but I'm sure they put on a great show.

Have seen*:

Bad Manners, UB40 (before they became a covers band '83 I think), Black Sabbath, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Guns 'N' Roses, AC/DC, Aerosmith, the Damned, the Ramones, the Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, Siouxsie & the Banshees, the Cure, Ultravox, King, Culture Club, Big Country, the Alarm, U2 (at Hammersmith Palais before their heads got too big for the venues), Tom Jones, Lionel Richie, the Mavericks, Stray Cats, Iggy Pop, Sigue Sigue Sputnik (paid a whole 50p for that one!) Stiff Little Fingers, King Kurt, Hawkwind & Vera Lynn (on the same bill) David Bowie, Bauhaus, the Offspring, Green Day, RHCP, Blondie, Bon Jovi (more times than I would've liked to) Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, KISS, Sisters of Mercy, the Psychedelic Furs, INXS, Motorhead, Kraftwerk, DEVO, Metallica, Megadeth, Nirvana, Mudhoney, The Pogues, Aswad, New Order, Marilyn Manson, the Levellers, Terrorvision, Ordinary Boys, Hard-Fi & many more at festivals including catching parts of the Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Prodigy & many too numerous to name at Glastonbury (largely due to wandering from stage to stage if there was nobody I particularly wanted to see on at the time.) & I've slept through both Marillion & Magnum.

Hardly anything recently though :(

*these are the ones I can remember without having to think too much about it

More recently Underworld and Faithless at Creamfields.
Those of you going to BPM ask Mary about the time we dangled her over the balcony at Newcastle City Hall and held onto her by her boots directly above Angus Youngs head to get a real good close up photo of him and it never:Censored: came out:D :D That's all for now but there's loads more when I think of them;) ;)

Edit: How could I Forget Thin Lizzy (3 times)

Seen Madness at Reading Festival Last year and will be Seeing them again at V festival This year ...

I've decided I'll take one weekend off a year and fit any holidays into the week.

If anyone like dance music I recommend going to festivals in the Netherlands.
I've been to many gigs before and they have the WOW factor.

Have a look at the crazy lighting rigs that were lowered down halfway through a track!

Never been to one ever! I also feel that coz these things are so big you are detached from the band/ singer so seems rather pointless for all i know it could be someone playing a CD. :p
