I have been contacted by a company who have been commissioned to research the possibility of making a new documentary film for a major broadcaster about customer service. The documentary will be looking at how expectations of customer service seem to be forever rising and how service providers keep pace with that and whether this has turned Britain into a nation of complainers.
They have asked if any of our members would be prepared to talk to them in confidence and off the record at this stage about any issues any of you have had with tricky customers. (whether silly & daft stories or serious issues or events that have occurred)
Below is a message to you all that they have asked me to post up on their behalf
Hi All,
I am working on a documentary about customer service culture in modern Britain. We all seem to increasingly expect better customer service, we want 24hr helplines and things put right now.
Where will it all end? Have we become a nation of complainers? Have you met people who want Bentley service for Mini money or who are just not happy unless they are complaining? Maybe you are in dispute with someone at the moment?
If you have a story; absurd or upsetting, please write in confidence to me [email protected].
