Pretty interesting gig - difficult one really as 13 year olds will have a completely different taste to the 17 year olds (most likely). What is the event? I'm intrigued! Youth club?

Bon Jovi - Livin on a Prayer
Bryan Adams - Summer of '69
Automatic - Monster
They seem to be the tracks all the 13yr olds like these days

The easiest and best thing to do for this age group is ask!
We started doing teenage parties a few months ago and the one's that have booked are really pleased when you tell them they can choose lots of music.
It's not like you'll lose the dance floor if you play something wrong, as they spend most of the time where ever they aren't supposed to be - outside, in the loo's etc
As the others have said, chart, bit of indie, R&B, bit of cheese and some party stuff.

Ah! Would explain it! :teeth: It is best to ask though I doubt the organisers will have a clue. With the age group just be prepared to play absolutely every genre, latest dance and pop will go down well plus school disco type stuff (as in the CD series). I think Darren got it pretty much down to a tee!

Ain't that the truth...done a few 13 - 16 year old parties and all follow a similar pattern
