Anyone want a night out in Harrogate in September

Dear all

I thought I would post this on here in case anyone in the Yorkshire area wanted a night out. On Friday 14th September 2012 we are doing this www.sepsistrustball.co.uk/hilarysball.html at The Old Swan in Harrogate, which is one of Yorkshires most famous hotels.

It will be a brilliant event and a nice opportunity for an evening away if you choose to stay over. I know the hotel well too as its one of the group companies from the day job, although we are booked direct by the client. I have stayed their loads and the breakfast it awesome as are the meals.

Anyway just though I would post it just in case.

Nope, I'll book a room and get a ticket. Is it a proper sit down meal? That's the only thing I won't do, I'll eat in the bar. Don't want to sit on my tod but I'll certainly come.

Quite enjoy going to different places.....on the train now to London so I can annoy Steve & Angela. :sj:

Its a sit down 3 course meal I believe followed by the charity auction with your charity auctioneer - me! I will once again be trying my hand on the auction stand (done it a few times and it is quite fun, but requires concentration)

Charlie, don't forget Harrogate's in Yorkshire. ;) You'll need a visa. ( And I don't mean the plastic card ) ;) And don't pin your hopes on meeting Neil and Kev, cos their chances of getting visas are virtually non existent. Round here we don't take kindly to folk from over the hill coming in and taking our jobs.

Lads, I'd love to go and give Charlie moral support, give Neil a ribbing, and collect all those drinks he owes me. Only thing is I've got a big local wedding to do on that date, so shan't be able to grace the event with my physical presence, but I wish you all the best.
