Recently I had a speaker that fell. It only fell about a foot but it was enough to be causing me problems since.

The problem is mainly when playing at mid to high levels the speaker vibrates (loudly) from inside, it sounds like part of the casing is vibrating somewhere inside. The sound from the actual speaker components sound absolutely fine so I don't think there's any damage to the cone etc. Now, I'm not very technically minded, but I think it's probably worth opening it up just to see if there's anything noticeable out of place before I (if I need to) send it off for repair.

Is there anything obvious I should be looking for inside?

Thanks. :)

Yep, plastic active speakers.

Well then good luck getting into it. I can get the HF units out of mine, and the speakons, but that's all. Knowing what you run, you should be OK. My Warriors are an absolute :Censored: to deal with.

The last time I dropped an active plastic speaker the weight of the speaker stopping suddenly broke the speaker away from 2 of its mountings and cracked the case. It sounded like you say yours sound.
