I was recommending a place where I have consistently had good designs for a reasonable price.

The aim isn't what forum his designer uses, it's how good his design is.

I'd say MDD isn't the best place to find a designer, TBH I don't know why you picked me up on it.

...because (as increasingly seems to happen on the forum) a member asked a question, and someone (in this case, you) chose to answer a different question. It makes me think that people aren't really bothering to read what others are asking.

Anyway, my intention was not to derail this thread, so....

I have "googled" some and lots seem to be very "tacky".

My add is going into a flashy magazine and I am aware of others who advertise and are going to be A+ so any designs would be great.

I would be more than happy and will be able to give you the "flashy" deign you are after. :) I don't have many sample of my design work due to me loosing them with a bad hard drive. But you can see me over all skills in the rest of my work.

Looks ok, but it seems a little 'dated' looking. The images on the bottom seem to have a slight brown hue to them (to my eyes anyway). The 'brown' tint and curved edges to the images make them look like old 1970's photographs.

If your ad is to compete alongside other A+ companies in a flashy magazine I think the design could work against you.

Then again, that's just a personal opinion based on my tastes. I know nothing of your market so you could well be right on the money with the design and I could be completely wrong.

While i like the aspect to me it doesn't really give me any info and if i was to pick it up its just alot pics (while it does look good) surely like a folded leaflet would be terr with a few pics and description etc

I disagree. I think the colour coded aspect of the images gives just enough information in image form to make anyone looking for more info pick up the phone.

Still, with a little tweaking, re-arranging and changing of the pictures and text, I can think of a use for the second one. :)
