A couple of weeks ago i got messed around (long story )
Got me thinking does anyone have contracts for working for other disco company's say if the the gig got cancelled and the company had the in there contract with the client that if cancelled within two week of of function full money has to be paid. so you would get paid.
And also does anyone take deposits off other disco companys when you work for them.

With the hotel i currently supply wedding discos to, if the client has paid a deposit then i'll get paid if the wedding is cancelled. Same applied at the previous hotel i supplied.

Normally, if i do work via another disco company, the whole booking, ie paperwork & deposit are transfered to me.

Ive never gone out to an event, and then waited on payment from the original disco company.
