Just spent a couple of hours looking back at the last 3 years worth of quotes.
I wanted to understand how many quotations I issued per month and how many became bookings.

These results give an interesting picture.

I have decided to change my peak and off-peak pricing into a more detailed structure to ensure a better conversion rate for the future.

J 2/10 1/5 4/9
F 4/17 7/11 2/12
M 6/33 4/43 6/41

My average conversation ratio is about 1/4 (25%)
Anyone care to share what rate they have?

I've only been doing the Wedding DJ thing in 2012.

If I look at the number of dates I could have done and agreed to do (i.e. I wanted the job) then my conversion from the website is 44%

I have prices on my website so unless people have missed that page completely they have qualified in as far as pricing is concerned.

The website is generating more enquiries than ever over the last 3 months and continues to steadily increase but I hope that conversion rate can still stay fairly high.

I have stuck prices on my website in the last month and so will expect the number of quotation requests to drop. So I ought to obtain a similar conversion rate next year.
I am glad I looked at the figures for the last 3 years.
I have realised that my prices have been too high for March. I ought to have got more bookings than I did.
