Slight crackle

Hi Guys

Following on from my headphones thread.

I have recently (in the past couple of weeks) noticed a slight crackle on some tracks via my MC6000 (this is different to the prob I had just after purchasing my mc6000!)

It doesn't happen all the time and I was wondering if it could be caused by the loose connection on my headphones? (the headphones look like they need re-soldered)

I just wanted to rule that out before checking my other leads.

The only way a fault on your heaphones would cause crackles on anything else would be if the lead was shorting out causing excessive demands on the mixer power supply.

Ok, thanks for that. I just wanted to rule that out before trying elsewhere.
