Re-assessing my current in van setup.
Just wondering what people use and how good they are?
I currently use my Phone with Google Navigation (as It's free)
And will be getting a Parrot Bluetooth thingy in my van soon.
I don't suppose anybody knows if the Parrot thing will chuck my sat nav directions through the speakers too?

if your parrot bluetooth thingy is connected to the vans radio then yes, all the sounds from your phone should come though your speakers.
i fitted a sony head unit in my car that connects to the phone via bluetooth. my google navigation, calls & music from the phone are all played though the cars speakers

My only issue was that if youve got satnav on whilst having a conversation, the satnav directions override who your talking to. lol

Haha, just done a little test on my phone ... when in call the "call screen" comes up over your sat nav so you need to have the phone reading you the directions or else you could be driving the wrong way!
Would have thought someone with a bit of noggin would make a handsfree kit like the parrot ones (mic's and that) and also a half decent satnav! Or they have and they've marketed it badly.
