How to announce happy birthday!

Hi everyone,
Just a quick question, I have an 8th birthday tomorrow and the client wants me to say happy birthday to the girl at the start of the party, I'm going to get them to all sing happy birthday later on in the party but how would you start the party and say the happy birthday? Sounds really silly but I'm stuck for words LOL.

How about stating off by saying who you are and saying something along the lines of you're all there to help x celebrate, so let's start, on the count of three, by shouting 'Happy Birthday' as loud as you can..... 1,2,3....

(easier to do naturally 'in the moment' than writing it out, but something like that!!!)

I recon that would get the part off to a good start :) I see what you mean being that it has to come naturally to you, there is only 10 kids there so the nerves shouldn't get to me :D

I have a version of Happy birthday by frank sinatra. Its really effective.

I would say "arrr ye ready kids"

I've got the basic happy birthday original tune, I was thinking of just getting them in a circle with the birthday girl in the middle and get them all to sing happy birthday?

There is usually a cake lit - do it when it comes out. and get here to make a wish before blowing it out.
That would abviously take some prepreparation with the parents so she did not know.

Lights down, cake out and then the singing.

Any yummy mumys? I might come along LOL. Especially if your mums going to be there at some point :D

I'll ask about the cake and the plans for that when I get there,
Should I keep the lights on for the whole party? My lights won't show up then!!
I'm not too sure :D it will be a nice surprise tomorrow if there are "yummy mummys" there LOL! Getting my dad to drop me off because my roadie mate is coming and he is full of the ":Censored::Censored::Censored::Censored:" jokes LOL

Then say lets all start of by singing happy birthday to (the birthday person)

I use the 32 second happy birthday traditional version from mastermix.

You have to sound enthusiastic when doing this introduction.
