Hi guys,

Help needed,i have a party tomorrow for a venue i supply one of the managers daughters she is 12 and wants to do a little karaoke along with a disco.
Problem is although we did karaoke years ago and havent a problem doing it i dont have some of the up to date tracks she wants.
I can have them ripped to a cd from a shop we use but in all fairness thats time which i havnt got today as i have a big wedding on tonight.
Whats the cheapest easiest way to load about 20 recent tracks onto either a memory stick or disc,i say stick we run a cortex will this play karaoke tracks or will i have to burn them to cd and if so whats the best way of doing it.
Hope this makes sense in short i dont karaoke any more but would like to be able to supply at least an hour of up to date tracks to make the girls birthday.
We have all the necassary screens cableing etc.
Any ideas guys.

If you go on the sunfly www.singsunfly.com web page i think other manufactures as well as mastermix allow you to download your own selection of tracks,

or you can always down load on the fly assuming you have a decent internet connection.

Whilst I agree you can download MP3+G files (or .bin) files direct from these suppliers (and many others!) does this help with the OP's dilemma?

I have no idea if the Cortex is capable of playing these files (my gut instinct would say it can't) and the issue of burning MP3+G to CD+G is not straightforward as not every CD/DVD burner can actually burn CD+G discs.

Maybe the solution would be to buy, say, the top 20 MP3+G downloads, download a free MP3+G player (there are loads on the internet and Sunfly have their own (http://www.singsunfly.com/software.aspx and just use a laptop and external monitor for the karaoke part of your show. That would be my solution, anyway.

Let us know how you get on.
