What are you more common lengths of cable (power/dmx) for uplighting?

The clues in the question :p Hope this hasn't been done to death, wasn't sure what to search :)

Do any of you clip/zip tie your DMX/Power cables together? I never know where to post these day ! This is on MDD's Facebook page too :beer1:

Most commonly used for me are 4 metre lengths. That said, I have lots of different lengths made up, a few 2 metres, vast majority 4 metres, some 8 metres.

I've never clipped any of the cables together.

My main lengths (dmx lighting leads)are probably 3 metres, then 1.5 metres and then 6 metres.Also i do not normally cable power leads and dmx cables together as in most cases i just tape them down..If its a regular venue i uplight i have some already cut to size cable chunkin where the cables fit inside

The common ones fore me are 2-3 and 5m power , I do use dmx for uplighting , and 1.5m three pin mains to IEC for when there is a socket near by to the uplights./

I have a few 1 and 2 metre ones. A full set of 5 metre ones and a few 10 metre ones.

I did have the power and dmx cable tied together...but it buggers your hands when coiling them up. I now have them together with electrical tape.

I have all sorts of lengths, but for DMX its 1m / 1.5m and 5m and power iecs are all 5m i think :)

Well that will save me doing that then, my intention was to use small cable ties but totally see where you're coming from with that ! Electrical tape it is then. :beer1:
