hi guys, does anyone know where i can buy off the shelf some tweeters for my speakers in a 50 mile radius of bristol somewhere like cpc farnell (unfortunatly they are in preston which is to far) and not craplins lol. need to buy tomorrow as i have a gig saturday and posting is a no go, any help huys much appriciated :)

I'm sorry, but I can't find any within 50 miles. CPC and Blue Aran keep coming up, but they're both outside your range. Let's hope some of our South Western brethren know of somewhere. The dreaded Craplins only seem to have APT80s.

Give Oasis or CPM a call one of them can probably recommend somewhere, or possibly even get the part themselves on a same day courier. Failing that they'll probably have something they could hire/lend you to get you through the weekend (CPM are more likely to be helpful in that respect).

It could be worth trying PMT (http://www.pmtonline.co.uk/index.php/contact-bristol/) in the centre or DV247 (http://www.dv247.com/bristol) in Clifton? I know PMT hold a limited amount of stock of speakers and parts.

Other than Maplin's, I don't know any other shops in Bristol that are likely to hold something like this on the shelf.
