Been offered a pair of these active speakers for £200 has anybody ever used them,if so can i have your views many thanks.

I have had a listen to them in a shop but really didnt like the sound, That is just my opinion.

I used a pair of Behringer B212As (the 12 inch version of what you are looking at) when I first started out.

They weren't bad for the money and they were fine for the small birthday parties and kids parties I was doing in those days. The weren't very bassy (I assume the 15 inch would be more bassy) and I always had to run them pretty high to get enough volume out of them.

The thing I hated most about them was the rattle. At higher volumes the speaker casing would rattle - I imagine I was the only one that really heard it though.

I now use a pair of RCF 312As and they are in an entirely different league (and entirely different price range! :D )

You say you have been offered them, I assume this means they are fairly nearby? If so, I would suggest you go and listen and see what you think yourself - £200 is not a bad price really.
