What did you get Daz?

Another load of CDs that will probably make you laugh or you'll tell me you've got them! :teeth:

From memory (and most I have on vinyl, but not on CD/PC)

Actually, not from memory - just logged in..

ZZ Top = Greatest Hits
Abba Gold Vol 2
OMD - The singles
Rod Stewart - The very best of
Sex Pistols - Jubilee
Alexander O'Neal - Greatest hits
Travis - Singles
Beastie Boys - Solid gold hits

As I said, a lot of the biggest hits, I already have on the PC, and on vinyl somewhere, but it's just a lot easier to grab these while they are cheap.

Enola Gay is far from the best track they've done aswell, Maid Of Orleans is one of the best songs ever!

Yes, it is a vocal track, more of a ballad - but you will almost certainly recognise it (Watergate made a dance remix out of it a few years back, around 2000)

2 great songs altho i thought "Maid Of Orleans" was called Joan of arc (Maid Of Orleans)

not much lyrics to these songs but when OMD put there magic to them gave them life n soul

Enola gay, you should have stayed at home yesterday
Aha words cant describe the feeling and the way you lied

These games you play, theyre gonna end it more than tears someday
Aha enola gay, it shouldnt ever have to end this way

Its 8:15, and thats the time that its always been
We got your message on the radio, conditions normal and youre coming home

Enola gay, is mother proud of little boy today
Aha this kiss you give, its never ever gonna fade away

Enola gay, it shouldnt ever have to end this way
Aha enola gay, it shouldnt fade in our dreams away

Its 8:15, and thats the time that its always been
We got your message on the radio, conditions normal and youre coming home

Enola gay, is mother proud of little boy today
Aha this kiss you give, its never ever gonna fade away

----------------------------------------

If Joan of Arc had a heart,
Would she give it as a gift
To such as me who longs to see,
How a legend oughta be

Had dreams to give her heart away,
Like an orphan along the way
She cared so much,
She offered up her body to the grave
