Callum - you've made a spelling mistake in the URL (on the background text) which means that your link isn't working. You might want to amend that!

All looks nice, but i'd really re-consider that opening paragraph. Focus on the advantages of you being younger for the market your aiming for. At the moment it comes across almost like "we're not really that good as we're only 14".. which i'm sure isn't true :)

(P.S. I presume i fixed that script for you then???)

yeh looks good.. apart from the feet ;-)

I would ditch the we're only 14 bit too..
Beef it up! Just say that we are currently only doing childrens parties at the moment as this is our favoured sector or something. Even though i bet your a great DJ.. I would personally have thought that people would be put off by the 'we're only 14' bit..

But generally looks brill dude.

Layout much improved on your old one. You will need rather more info than you've got on there at the moment to be an effective website, but I'm sure you are still working on that and you can build that up gradually.

Scrap the at the moment bit, why not introduce yourself a a children's party specalist, then you can gradually work up the age ladder as you grow old ( :teeth:) and change the site as and when you need to.

Look at other people's opening paragraphs, and see what differences you notice compared with yours :)

Oh, and none of the images are working for me in both IE and FireFox...oh and the main page is titled as "index"

lighten out side edge of page colour as to see your name better lose the 14 yr old bit and say you specialize in school and childrens discos plenty work in this market to make a packet out of if marketed properly

Up your £20 an hour to about £30 - 40 if not a lot more dont underprice yourself people will pay for quality. £20 sounds cheap n nasty if you understand what I mean not saying you are but people percieve In a different light etc etc think of it as your college fund???

Page kicks in way too slow about 10 secs is better not 22

My initial honnest thoughts from a customer and professional view point.....

Too red for my personally liking.

Takes too long to load.;

Doesn't really give the impression of a mobile DJ.

"officially the best" - SAYS WHO???

Contact us page is too squashed on the left hand side.

No real info on there.

Gallery thumbnails will be far too small to see properly when the real pics are added.

Advertises remote world layouts far too much.

If i'm really truthful i'd say it looks more like a kiddie project/ 14 year old fantasy than a professional mobile disco site that specialise in childrens functions.....

Just my very inital thoughts on the site But then i'm not one to talk as my site isn't exactly great either!

Callum

I've not read the thread fully, so forgive me if someone else has picked up on this, but you appear to be using two different logos now (the one to the top left of the page, and the one in the thumbnails) You need to use just one logo to maintain identity and consistency.

Any generic graphics should be at the very least loosely related, I agree with the others comments here, why the club pic and the feet? (unless you're aiming to increase hits by attracting foot fetishists as well as those who want a party for their 7 year old?) There's probably more of the former on the internet, it's a scary world :bat:

joking aside, hope this helps :teeth:

You've got to think out side the box to work out the pics :teeth:

The logo in the top corner is design around my original logo, the guy that made it required that the back ground was clear but the logo wasn't so he based that one around it.

Some bits just need a general tweaking really.

Well the average internet user loooking for someone to do their (insert age here) year old disco won't be "thinking out of the box" when looking at the pics!

hi ca.llum, just had a look at your new web site. not being nasty Mate, but you need to put alittle more work and thought into it. Google has a tool called page rank,it measures the important of your pages. A average / good web site , measures between 4/5 out of ten. MDD home page measure 5, Yours messure 0 on all your pages. very good web site ie e.bay measures 8/9.
I too had trouble getting your pictures. early days yet keep working at it.Take
on board some of the comments the lads are giving you. I shall keep logging on to your web site and in a couple of days or weeks I can give you some positive feedback.plus Im redesigning my web site at the moment look forward to your comments Callum.
all the best Adrian.
