Hi there,
I've just started to pack my gig bag ready for this Friday and Saturday's events, and I thought to my self I wonder what other DJ's put in there's that I don't or could put in there, so what do you put in yours?
So far in mine I have,
Laptop
External HDD (back up)
Numark DJ IO X2 (one as main, one as back up)
Headphones
Spare microphone + lead
Spare phono to phono cables for DJ IO + CD player to mixer
Spare USB Leads for DJ IO's and EX HDD
Spare laptop power supply
Diary, gig information, playlist
Phone charger
Gaffa tape, electrical tape in various colours
Pens
Sunglasses
That's about it I think.
Am I missing anything important or advisory?
Thanks,
Tom.

Have you updated or changed it since then?
If so, what have you added or taken away?

The bag is different and I no longer have the ipod in there..I do have a small HD video camera though. Most of the other kit is the same..ish.

Most of above, but i always have a mains circuit tester the 13 amp plug type that will check the mains before you plug your expensive equipment in,essential for marquee jobs. Also a multi purpose cable tester.

Me too, but all that kind of stuff is in my spares case.

I'm sure you take a light of some description but we always take 3 of the poundland usb lights, fantastically cheap and slide into the side of the bag easily.
