RGBW CONTROLLER WONT CONTROL RGBA LIGHT (MANUAL SAYS IT SHOULD!)

Its an american dj 8 channel mixer, but wont adjust the amber? any ideas? is there a controller out there that does?

Is the parcan set to the right DMX mode? Often lights have several 'personalities' ...

I think so, there on the same channel. but I definitely know its not working, as ive tried them individually, and the amber isnt adjusted by the white mixer. (the white does)

What make and model are the parcans? Easier if we can look at the manual ourselves for you.

Some fixtures have several DMX modes, 5 channel, 6 channel, 7 channel etc. and you have to set them to the right one in the menu, perhaps you're on one that doesn't give you the control over the parameters you want?

Ok, one of the RGBA's is faulty, no amber showing.

And the DMX cables arent working properly on the remaining 3 units, 1 x RGBA 2 X RGBW. (they work if they are connected directly to each other)

should the leads be totally unwound to stop interference? they are not touching electrical leads.
