Mobile phone question.

Right then folks, here's the situation. It turns out that a Nokia N8 isn't waterproof. It's over a year old, so out of manufacturer's warranty, so Orange won't replace it with another. My contents insurance does cover it though, and they seem as if they will pay out on it. Now the big question: If they can't come up with an N8 to replace it, what's a roughly equivalent phone? And if they insist on giving me money to replace it myself, how much is it worth? A quick look on Ebay seems tio indicate they're making at least £100 s/h, so it's probably too valuable to simply bin.

And if you had £100 to buy a ( sim free ) phone, what would you get? £100 probably wouldn't get anywhere near the same quality as the N8, but hey ho. It must run on mini SIM cards, not micro, so that rules out the Lumia as far as I can see. Thanks folks.
