Last year i got talking with another local dj. he refused to buy any other lighting effects other than abstract extreme and i ribbed him mercilessly for it.
then about 2 mins ago i realised that ive become exactly the same with my i-solution stuff. AAArrrrrghhhhhhh !

That said just realised my lighting rig is all Acme/iSolution/Wildtech, so I'm sort of in the same boat.

Personally when I started all i looked for was cheap, then i looked at expensive. Now I just go for what I like. We all go through different stages of this and its normal, dont call the phyciatrist just yet. Wait until you reach for a ropelight in the maplin catalogue. lol

I suppose you have to trust your brand.. I seem to have a mixture..

ACME, Source, Preal River Lights (the PR Pilot 250s.. i think they are called Pearl River :s), and a few others..

Still looks nice and smart though:)

I suppose sticking to the same brand means that they will always look pretty much the same.. maybe increading the good looks value of the set up:)

my show has just become all acme mainly isolution i used to have a pair of abstract ninja stars (futurescans but they were lethal) and my datamoons have served me well just soooo many people told me not to replace them with current datamoons.
