Peugeot 106 1.5 diesel. Great car with mpg that puts most cars to shame even filled to the gunnels.

I think your early years give you something that you can't learn anywhere else.
Started at 14 so it was dad's renault 25 (in the years when we were still humping light boxes about) for the first few years. Then on to a Peugeot 305 estate. It's this characture building vehicle ownership that teaches you how to get a litre into a pint glass! Something I think we all should have to do - part of your Disco ownership licence!
Then we added a towbar to the Peugeot - open topped trailer, what was I thinking off? Wooden too, so I think it just dissintergrated in the end. Then a selection of pointless motors - Escort, Volvo (the small ex Daff one) until we got sensible and bought a Merc A class - all the seats come completely out of them you know - bloody great! Merc became a Merc and van, Then Renault Laguna and Van and you all know where we are now - and still packing the van like it's an escort!

a very ropey bright green trailor that eventually gave up the ghost on the drive due to the expanding weight size of my disco.

My Dad had a Bedford motorcaravan which was used for years, before and after I got my driving license. Great vehicle, plenty of space and actually meant i could cook up a bleedin' great fry-up after 1 or 2 gigs!!

Pretty sure my first transport was my Dad's old Peugeot 405, then his Ford Mondeo.. then when i started driving I used a 106, then changed back to the Mondeo when i outgrew that.
