This is hard.. i've been trying to work out a list of my top 10.. when i think of a track i really, really like, it goes on the list.. eventually i'll try and get an order together. Interstingly enough, given my age, there's only one on the list thats newer than 1990.

How do you mean "Best music track of all time"?

Your favourite music on a track regardless of the lyrics??

Don't be so pedantic, you know very well what he means. :teeth:

On reading the title of the thread I instanly thought instrumental, but then Tom Hark, or at least the vesion in question has lyrics. Which is why I asked for clarification.

Might take me forever to debate with myself, so I will just say Jeff Buckley - Grace for the time being!

As an instant choice, a tune, that if I had to name one to save my life in 10 seconds, would be ............................ Third World - Now that we found love. However, give me some time and it could change.

Yep thats right it was used for the BBC Boon series for a while. It was written about her dead father who was a firman i believe. A nice song.

From the mid 70's the Trammps and the instrumental version of Zing went the strings of my heart, it was known by a different title but I can't remember it DOH!

My album list might give you a clue, but my problem is I can never nail down my favourite. It totally depends on my mood/the time of year/in the car etc.

But (as if you care) it will be one of these three subject to the above:

Eminem - Stan
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird
Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Power of Love

Absolutely impossible to name one track as my favourite, I would really struggle to nail down a top 20 :omg:

I tried to write down my top 20 last year as my young nephew/roadie asked me.
I ended up with a top twenty and another 20 'reserves' !!

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird
Saw them do it live in '91, made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

(& before anyone says anything about them all being dead, there were more original members in the band in '91 than were involved in the crash)

Theme from Boon was by Jim Diamond - Hi ho silver, if my memory is correct.
