Hi, I'm trying to trace any disco gear from the early 70's made by a company based in Leigh, Lancs called Fradan Radio.
I ran the school disco back in the 70's and this led me to wonder what happened to Fradan Radio and whether there may be some old disco equipment still around that I could buy off someone. The decks were in a long coffin case with Garrard sp25mk3 decks and a 50 watt integral valve amp. The speakers were 2 x 12" columns. I'd dearly love to own a set of the same decks and so my quest began.
I do have some disco decks from the 80's which I use with my old fairground ride to play vinyl from the 50's 60's and 70's and love the sound of the old crackles and pops. :-)
Anybody who could help or suggest help that would be great thanks.

If you can't say anything constructive then don't bother.

The new member has PM'd and asked that his account be deleted, so I doubt he'll be back. With that being case, I sadly see no point in this thread remaining open.
Paul, if you do read this, sorry you feel that way. I'm not too sure why you asked to be deleted right after I asked you to introduce yourself to our members, it's something we ask of all new members. As I've already stated though, we don't just delete accounts, you do however have the option whether to post or not.
