line switching on denon x050 mixer

Hi all
still deciding on how to make whole playout system smaller and into one case
have been trying to find a decent 4 channel 2u mixer but doesnt seem to be many about that are good quality
so now thinking about buying a denon x050 2u mixer and switching the line output each time i need to change output
question is would this be recommendable or will the line switches give out
does anyone else on here dj like that
at present i use a djm 600 so i just use the channel faders and there is more than enough lines

It's not a Denon or Pioneer, but I had an old one, and it was more than fit for purpose.It's the only one I know of without some Googling.

Thats a nice looking mixer. 8 inputs as well, albeit that two are phono but it should be fairly simple to mod them to be line inputs as well giving a total of 8 line inputs :)

I use the X050 and regularly switch line inputs the way you mentioned.

Granted, it's not every other song but its certainly workable.

i bought one of these mixers second hand from someone and there is a lot of cross talk or cross noise coming from it.
i dont know if the problem is the unit itself or this particular type of mixer suffers from cross talk but to me it seems to be the type of mixer.

im now thinking that perhaps i can just squeeze a 4u mixer in like the x500 but it will sit slightly over the edge
