It is also a voltage regulator. You ask for the tech spec on the £3 one, i,ll provide the tech spec on the APC one. Then maybe i can answer that

No, a surge protector does not regulte the voltage. It protects against extremes in the suppply. The apc one regulates the voltage at much lower fluctuations.

We don't jump on anyone. When people post things with not a recommendation or a why or what, then I'm going to ask questions - that is what a forum is about, discussion.

You've come on here the last couple of days and been very negative in your postings. Perhaps you should check back Paul.

You appear to have gone through some kind of major technical transformation as not very long ago, you were posting on DJ Source asking very basic questions about speakers and amps, hence my jokey comment about you copying and pasting.

If you are after Voltage regulation,and surge protection then the APC link i provided, would be the cheaper option from buying a UPS, although it does not offer power backup as the UPS does.
