This is doing the rounds at the moment.
Nice touch. It's 14 minutes long but worth watching.

Good idea... but it's McFly related, so it's automatically naff lol!

Well I'm gonna be a big fat cynic and say...
What a cop out. Looking past the fact that the guys ego needs some serious checking for using his bands songs in his wedding speech and then posting it HIMSELF on YouTube (way to keep it intimate and heartfelt dude) it the most obvious, cop outy cop out choice for a speech.
Grumble grumble grumble. ;) I totally get how people could love it though, so fair play to those that do!

Yeah... I saw this on Farcebook...it's been re-posted by no end of people there too. Some of the future and soon-to-be brides-to-be ;-) amongst my FB friends have been all "oh it made me cry a bit", and "wouldn't it be lovely if...".
I can see one or two grooms being cajoled into trying to match this just like they were into doing awkward routines to the "funny surprise first dance" medley things that did the rounds during 2010-2012...
Although there seems to me to be an opportunity here if the sing-your-own-speech idea does become a trend.... if only I knew a quarter decent guitarist/producer...... ;-)

typical miserable DJ's....what a cop out indeed.
It's clever, but it's so clearly engineered because the production and camera work on it is really good.

I wouldn't say it's a cop out but it's a bit tacky that he's posted it on his Youtube.
On the wedding forum I advertise on the brides are going nuts over it and now expecting big things from their fiances. :)
