View Full Version : HK Audio lucas 600 speaker drivers

hi everyone

Can anyone tell me what replacement speaker drivers i can use in my satellites on my mk1 hk audio lucas 600
i have search all over the net for the same ones but cant find

all i know is they are 8inch 4ohm and on the back of the satellite it says 150watt

any help would be great

I emailed a guy on ebay who was selling a system but had swapped his drivers for fane sovereign 8-225s, as he said, "they sound nicer than the original HK speakers"?!?!? Don't know how true that is, as he claimed there was nothing wrong with the original. Any way could be a possible replacement, but you' d have to check the specs. Cheers

just had a look and they are 8 ohms so probably wont do for yours, his system was the newer digital lucas impact 1200w which I think is 8 ohm drivers.

Eminence Beta 8s are might to be quite similar.

only took a week to come in
but atleast the are the right ones

Which ones are they? I wonder if Andy will source the 8" for my Lucas 1000.

and they are the right ones with hk audio sticker on the bottom of them

Definitely, and you know what, I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before I emailed them as I searched for it.
