Just wondered if anyone knew anything about this - see picture.
I understabd it is called a "Studio due giant".
Any ideas?

just looks it the base looks really wide and chunky to me

Yes, the Studio Due Giant, and is actually a very small unit. As far as moving heads go, they are pretty poor in features and performance. They only have 4 colours and 4 gobos, which are not rotatable. Also, the pan / tilt (movement) is only 8-bit, where as most moving heads are 16-bit, giving a much smoother movement.
