Chauvet Remote control ???

Can anyone shed any light on the remote controls for the Chauvet range ?

It's hit or miss whether I can get the goddamn thing to work on my Colorails , What am I doing wrong ? , getting really frustrating anyone else had the same problem ?

And does anyone know where the remote sensor is on the colorails ?
