that you can't wait to spend it again.
Sold my HK lucas at the weekend and thought, "I'll put that money to one side in case of an emergency"

done both of them recently simon, still need lots more to get the video setup i want. Going to build a rear projection screen soon, with a folded light path, so i don't need a lot of space behind the screen.

Yup, Paul (Thames Valley) is right, if you have more than one image it doesn't display the picture.

Is that an EFX500 or 600 Paul?

It was more the percentage that I was interested in.

Percentage is fine but what all DJ's say in the end is 'show me the money.'
I must admit I buy way to much stuff for my disco on a whim. Must start paying some bills.

I hate visit the disco shop. I live near one of the best ones, and its just too easy to 'pop-in' on the way to Tesco's.

Even 'Im not buying today, just looking' ends up with me forking out for some new mastermix boxset or something from the DJ Sundries Catalogue. I class DJ Sundries as Microphone, Headphone, Lightbulbs, Strictly for DJ use only CD's, Kraoke slips, a gooseneck lamp, a new speak cable etc etc etc.

right quick and dirty screen explanaition

if you need a 2m throw to get a 1.6m wide image then rather than put the projector out in front of you, "fold" the light beam with a front mirro(silvering on front as glass distorts the image) and you only need a 1m throw. so my plan is projector behind me with screen hung from truss and a small (a3 size) mirror on some kind of bracket (tilt) to rear project. crude side diagram below

Quote branson on that comment

look at the master of businesses he stuck by that comment now look at him.

If I remember the full comment save 1/4 for the tax man 1/4 for investment and 1/4 for the staff costs/expenses/stock the rest is then yours.. I may be wrong but he made this comment in the 80's and it sounds very sound advice. I have tried to stick to it????????
