Hire gear - any rules?

I've been asked to provide some hire gear on a regular basis to a wedding venue where I know the owners well (where I had my own wedding.)
I have sufficient extra gear that I can provide for the purposes of speeches and background music but am wondering what sort of terms and conditions ye guys use for this sort of thing. I would worry that in my absence there would be a technical malfunction or human error that prevents the system working ir being used correctly and would sour the day. I think it wouldnt be viable to supply backup for everything as well (maybe mic and cables etc only) and I would compile a detailed document on how to connect and use. What other precautions should I take. Thanks in advance.

I have an instruction sheet which states how the equipment should be used, when they sign receipt of the equipment they also sign to say they will follow the instructions.
Despite this I nearly always find my speakers have been turned off at full volume and the cables just shoved into a box... just have to deal with that though.

UKPARTYDJ EQUIPMENT HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS

THE HIRER

These Terms and Conditions are a statuary part of the ‘UKPARTYDJ HIRE AGREEMENT’ and the Hirer legally enters into this hire agreement on their-own behalf.

The Hirer shall only use the said equipment for its intended purpose and in a right and proper manner.

Hirer undertakes the responsibility of hiring the correct equipment.

The Hirer undertakes full responsibility for the security and safe keeping of the hire equipment, and accepts full responsibility for the loss or damage of said equipment, howsoever caused.

The Hirer undertakes any public liability responsibilities whilst the equipment is in their care.
The Hirer agrees not to tamper with and or modify, or allow any third party to tamper and or modify the workings of the equipment in any way whatsoever. Any damage caused as a result of such action will be charged to the Hirer by UKPARTYDJ.

If the equipment is lost by any means whatsoever or damaged beyond repair. The Hirer will pay the Company the current retail price to replace the said equipment, plus a 5% daily hire rate of the said equipment charged from the hire date to the date of payment.

THE HIRE PROVIDER

Although the hire equipment is maintained to a high standard. UKPARTYDJ accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any malfunction/s or breakdown/s of the said hire equipment.

UKPARTYDJ accepts no responsibility for any damage caused to equipment not supplied by UKPARTYDJ during the hire period. Nor accepts responsibility of any loss financial or otherwise.

The Hire is sold without any form of Public Liability Insurance. Public Liability is the sole responsibility of the Hirer. The Company accepts no responsibility for any public liability claims whatsoever.
All cables are supplied coiled and in good working order and should be returned in the same condition. Any missing and/or damaged connectors will be charged at a rate of £5.00 plus the cost of the connector/s or plug/s.

OWNERSHIP

The said hire equipment remains the property of UKPARTYDJ at all times.

This hire agreement shall determine forthwith without prejudice to any antecedent claim to UKPARTYDJ and/or the hire equipment forthwith be repossessed by the UKPARTYDJ in any one or more of the following events: (a) the commission of the Hirer of an act of bankruptcy or his entry into any agreement with his general body of creditors. (b) The breach by the Hirer of any of the stipulations herein contained and on their part to be observed and performed.

The Hirer is strongly advised to have public liability insurance against any said claims and also have adequate insurance to cover any cost replacing lost or damaged equipment.
