I play a handful of musical instruments (as well as being a top class DJ, super intelligent, handsome and all round fantastic guy :daft: )
A while back I picked myself up a djembe drum (think big African bongo type thing) and rejoined a big jam band type thing that I'd played guitar in years ago. It's quite a cool set up, we rehearse at a boozer in town, have a few beers and anyone with any instrument and ability can turn up and play. We have a few originals but mostly cover a wide range of pop, rock and indie stuff and since we have everything from ukeleles and mandolins to trumpets and bazooki's, we can do some pretty interesting arrangements with them (whilst making an unholy racket)
Anyhoo we've just been confirmed to do the Wickerman festival we've got a late afternoon slot on the Friday so we'll be able to do our set and then chill out and enjoy the rest of the weekend. The lovely Amy McDonald is headlining and the missus has OK'd me. to have a crack at her if our paths cross in the artist area :D :beer1:
