Who have you missed seeing live?

I was at Hard Rock Calling to see Bruce last year and Fogerty was on too. They both showed up to play a tune in each other's sets :thu:

Jim, I envy you. Never seen either live, sadly. :cry: JC did tour a few times recently, once with Tina Turner, but I missed 'em all.

Missed the Eagles forty years ago ( yup children, forty years :eek: ) but put that to rights in London a couple of years ago. Magic.

Missed Garth Brooks a long time ago, cos I didn't want to let a mate down over a gig.

I was all booked to see Hazel Oconnor on her breaking glass tour last year and realised during a wedding gig I was meant to be in Brighton watching it :daft::muppet:

Coincidentally enough, Fogerty had been on my bucetlist before that gig. I'd already seen Bruce a few times.

As it stands:

Bowie - Was meant to see him at T in the Park but he pulled out the week before it :mad:

Would also love to see The Cure and the Stones but Bowie is the big one I'll regret never seeing.

Apart from that I've seen pretty much everyone I'd ever REALLY want to see.

And I know this won't ever happen, but I would pay hundreds to see The Smiths if they reformed.

I had tickets to see him at Hammersmith & then he died (another good reason for not liking Clapton)


There are 4 artists I would have loved to see: the Doors, the Beatles, Elvis Presley & Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Living just a few miles away from Donnington Park (Monsters of Rock venue) it's been easy for me to see many of the top rock bands, but the one I missed, and regret to this day, is Queen I can't believe I never made the effort while I had the chance.

Led Zeppelin....Knebworth 1979. Parents wouldn't let me go cos I was still at school and had to sell my ticket. Devastated:(:(:( Never mind I thought there'll be other times when I'm older. Er well no actually. The drummer died a year later:(:(:(
