Labelling you gear

Hi all just wondering in these days of dmx addressing then master and slave units not to mention pat test logs how do you go about labelling and Identifying your equipment ? If using printed labels what's best or is a Dymo type thing better also what seems more durable?.

The labels that I use when I am PAT testing include the company name and item number. In the past I have used the bar code labels from CPC to number the items but found the printed PAT labels neater. Generally for DMX address I know what is fixed address others change to often to worry about
